PROGRAM
PHILOSOPHY
My commitment is to the children.
Sunny Days Childcare provides
a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical,
social, and emotional development of the whole child. I
also provide a child-centered environment in which children are
actively encouraged to learn through play and hands-on
experiences.
CURRICULUM
Sunny Days Childcare
curriculum is based on hands-on experiences. Children learn
by doing!!!
I promote the Developmental and School
Readiness as set forth in the “First 5 San Diego”
guidelines.
Our everyday schedule includes a variety of
activities for the children, such as Preschool
Curriculum, Arts & Crafts, Music, Reading, Dramatic Play,
and Indoor/Outdoor Free-Play.
  
SNACKS & LUNCHES
Sunny Days Childcare
provides a nutritious mid-morning snack, lunch, and a
mid-afternoon snack.
I am in
accordance with the Child Nutrition Program of Southern
California.

NAP TIME
Sunny Days Childcare believes everyone
can benefit from a nap, especially young children! Our Nap
Time is from 1 - 3 in the afternoon. We start at approximately
12:30 PM with stories to help relax the children, then children
lay on their nap mats with their blanket, pillow, & favorite
stuffed toy from home, while being lulled to sleep with soft
music.
